Shell Gadus S2 V220 is a high-quality, multi-functional lubricating grease for applications in the industrial and transport sectors. It is based on a mixture of high viscosity index mineral oils and a lithium hydroxystearate thickener. It contains special extreme-pressure additives that allow it to withstand high loads and shock loads in demanding conditions without damaging the lubricating film. This grease has very good resistance to water washout and it reliably protects bearing surfaces from corrosion, even with large amounts of water. Specially selected base oil ingredients have excellent resistance to oxidation, its consistency does not change during storage, and it withstands high operating temperatures without hardening or forming deposits. It is designed for multi-functional grease lubrication of rolling elements, plain bearings, hinges and sliding surfaces.
