Product details	The fischer ASL spacer screw is a special galvanized steel screw with two perfectly matched threads. The spacer screw is ideal for positioning and adjusting dowel-free components in wood and wood-based materials, door and window frames, cladding, and wooden substructures, and for fastening components without pulling them against the substrate. This special screw is used for push-fit installation. When the screw is screwed in, the external thread engages the pre-drilled anchor, securing it in place. In combination with the fischer SX expansion anchor, the ASL is used in concrete and, together with the fischer UX universal anchor, in masonry. How it works: The ASL is suitable for push-fit installation. Pre-drill the device at the desired angle to achieve correct positioning and alignment. When the screw is screwed in, the external thread engages the pre-drilled anchor and secures it in the desired position. The angled position of the screws (15° - 30°) allows them to withstand high shear loads.
