The suspension incorporates patented 3M™ Pressure Diffusion Technology, reducing forehead pressure by up to 20% compared to conventional 3M helmet suspensions for improved comfort.
- X5500 Series helmets include 3M™ UVicator™ Sensors, which change from red to white when exposed to damaging UV levels, indicating when helmet replacement is required. Accessory slots and clips are compatible with various 3M faceshields, earmuffs and accessories, and an optional chin strap can be added.
