LOCTITE® 577 is a methyl acrylate thread sealing agent with low strength. It hardens in contact with metals and in the absence of air and secures a joint against loosening due to vibration and other types of stress. It provides an instantaneous low-pressure seal, is easy to apply and does not block the system. LOCTITE 577 is thixotropic, so little runs off after application to the part, and has excellent chemical and thermal resistance.
