Kramp invests in the realization of a new Nordic distribution center in Eastern Jutland, Denmark. A consolidation of the current warehouses in Denmark and Sweden will improve the level of service for all customers in Norway, Finland, Sweden, and Denmark. Customers and partners will continue to benefit from product expertise and local presence, as the local sales offices in all four countries will remain a crucial part of the Kramp Nordics organization.
The new distribution center is expected to be fully operational in early 2027 and is a sizable investment which will unlock the full potential of the Nordic Market.
“The new distribution center will have the highest technological standards and increased capacity to ensure optimal efficiency, speed, and accuracy in inventory management, storage, and distribution. This will strengthen our competitiveness in price, assortment, and delivery. Ultimately, we are investing in the long-term success of our customers in the Nordic region by strengthening our ability to provide them exceptional service,” says Stefan Garsdal, Operations Director, Kramp Nordics.
Central warehouse, supported by local sales expertise
Throughout 2025, the warehouse function in Eslöv, Sweden will be taken over by the warehouse operations Skjern, Denmark. After the distribution center’s completion, consolidated warehouse operations in Skjern will fully move to the new Nordics distribution center in Eastern Jutland.
“Sometimes what is best for our customers and the business, comes at a cost. We are aware of the impact it has on our employees in the warehouses, when we move the geographical location of our operational activities. Therefore, we will have individual conversations with our impacted employees to support them in finding their way forward,” says Mark Weetink, Managing Director, Kramp Nordics.
The Kramp local sales offices in Skjern (DK), Eslöv (SE), Frogner (NO), and Paimio (FI) will continue to play a pivotal role in the Nordic operations.
“As important as our efficient delivery of goods, is our local presence and the extensive knowledge our sales teams have accumulated over the years. We will empower them to be readily available with their expertise and service for our customers. This strategic effort ensures that our product specialists and other experts have the optimal conditions to provide the best possible service with respect to our heritage,” says Mark Weetink, Managing Director, Kramp Nordics.
