Application range
  • For large surfaces that have not yet been painted
  • For the repair of damaged galvanised parts, corrosion protection for weld seams, and the cold galvanisation of metal surfaces in mechanical engineering, plant engineering and bodywork
Properties
  • Can be painted with synthetic resin paint
  • Cannot be painted with 2K paints
  • Theoretical yield: 8 m²/l or 3.4 m² with a coat thickness of 50 µm
  • Apply using a brush or roller
  • Ventilation time: at least 10 minutes before any oven drying
  • Quick drying
  • Temperature-resistant to approx. 400°C
  • Colour: matt
  • Specific weight: 2.16–2.30 kg/l
  • Chromate-free and lead-free
Technical info
  • Processing temperature: +5 to +30°C air and object temperature; take note of dew point
  • Pre-treatment of iron and steel surfaces: sand blasting
  • Dust-dry after 20–30 minutes (at 20°C)
  • Set to touch after 50–60 minutes (at 20°C)
  • Hardened after 6 hours (at 20°C)
  • Can be coated after 12 hours (at 20°C)
  • Final hardness after 3–4 days (at 20°C)
  • Lower temperatures result in longer drying times
  • The thickness of the applied layer must not exceed 150 µm per pass
