| Properties | - The low operating currents required for Vidalloy electrodes generate less heat and penetrate the base material less deeply
- This reduces the risk of burning out and reduces the thinning the plating alloy with the base material
- The result is a pure hard surfacing alloy with optimum mechanical properties
- The amperage should be between min. 80 A and 130 A
- The max. application thickness for Vidalloy V 33 should be max. 10 mm and 3 to 4 layers
- This alloy is used for direct application on manganese steel and achieves high levels of wear resistance and impact strength
- Grade 33 achieves very high wear resistance on carbonised and low alloyed steels
- Special characteristics:
- Quick application
- High spreading capacity
- No drying
- No deslagging
