Product details
  • The fischer ASL spacer screw is a special galvanized steel screw with two perfectly matched threads.
  • The spacer screw is ideal for positioning and adjusting dowel-free components in wood and wood-based materials, door and window frames, cladding, and wooden substructures, and for fastening components without pulling them against the substrate.
  • This special screw is used for push-fit installation.
  • When the screw is screwed in, the external thread engages the pre-drilled anchor, securing it in place.
  • In combination with the fischer SX expansion anchor, the ASL is used in concrete and, together with the fischer UX universal anchor, in masonry.
  • How it works:
  • The ASL is suitable for push-fit installation.
  • Pre-drill the device at the desired angle to achieve correct positioning and alignment.
  • When the screw is screwed in, the external thread engages the pre-drilled anchor and secures it in the desired position.
  • The angled position of the screws (15° - 30°) allows them to withstand high shear loads.
