Long description
LOCTITE 648 is a strong urethane methyl acrylate-containing anaerobic acrylic adhesive, with high temperature resistance, designed for joining cylindrical parts. This product has high strength on all metallic and passive materials, such as stainless steel, and is resistant to light contamination from industrial oils. The locking compound fluoresces under UV light. This allows the quality of the connection to be easily checked. Some applications include, the fixation of gears and chain discs on transmission shafts and rotors on electric motor shafts.
