Long description	LOCTITE 542 is designed for securing and sealing metal pipes, fittings and other cylindrical metal assemblies. It is recommended for fine threads used in hydraulic, pneumatic and general applications. This product cures in the absence of air and enclosed between close-fitting metal surfaces. It prevents loosening and leakage due to shock and vibration, offers an instant low-pressure seal and is resistant to fuel, oil, coolants and hydraulic fluids. LOCTITE 542 is thixotropic, which means little will run off after application to the part.
