Long description	LOCTITE 290 is a medium to high strength liquid threadlocker designed for securing and sealing threaded connections. Due to its low viscosity and capillarity, the product penetrates fixed threads and also fills pores in welds, castings and sintered metal parts. It is great for securing and sealing pre-assembled fasteners, where disassembly prior to application is unnecessary. This product cures in the absence of air when sealed between closely fitting metal surfaces and is resistant to light contamination from industrial oils. Disassembly is only possible by heating the connection.
