What items are essential for your vehicle?

|4 minutes to read

On the road, you see many cars with special rims, large spoilers, and striking bumpers. Tractors and agricultural machines are also easy to modify. These gadgets enhance your tractor's look but also add safety and comfort to your work. What options are there? We’ve compiled a top 7 list for you!

1. The safety bumper
The safety bumper safeguards your tractor's front, including its front wheels. It’s a secure, adjustable front weight ranging from 350 to 2000 kg for agricultural tractors. These bumpers feature LED lights, reflectors, and bumper poles. Beyond vehicle protection, an Agribumper offers extra visibility which boosts traffic safety. These bumpers enhance road safety, especially in busy traffic.

2. Special work lights
Having good work lighting is key for safe and accurate field work. LED work lights for tractors and other farm vehicles are available, along with safety bumpers, in our web shop. Besides safety benefits, these work light bars give your vehicle a tough look. Be sure to have a good beacon too. Nowadays, LED beacons are more affordable and longer-lasting than those using halogen lights. Choose between rotating or flashing signals, with some beacons offering both.

3. Kramp light tester
Got faulty vehicle lights or loose trailer wiring? Use a light tester to check all your vehicle's lighting functions. You can do this easily from your driver’s seat with a 3.5-meter cable. Most testers support both 7- and 13-pole plugs. This useful gadget is a tractor essential! Check out Kramp light testers in our web shop.

4. Air horns of Hadley, Hella, or other brands
Many young professionals install air horns on their tractors: a cool gadget. Air horns also boost workplace safety. The air horns work well as a warning in traffic or unsafe work settings. They're even used in earthmoving as a signal for a fully loaded tipper by an excavator.

5. Fire extinguishers
Not just a gadget, a fire extinguisher is a must-have in every tractor cab. Available in different sizes to fit any cab. View Kramp's fire extinguishers here.

6. Stand out in the dark with: magnetic lights
If you stop or have a mishap, six magnetic lights, known as warning flashes, plus a rechargeable warning light are invaluable. If stranded, simply attach these lights to your tractor or place them on the road. They're durable even under car pressure. Keep these in your cab for roadside safety and emergency signaling. Delivered in a handy charger case. Download our LED lighting brochure and learn more about our lighting options.

Another essential is wireless trailer lighting, like LA60025 and LA60035. Perfect if your trailer lights fail or a cable breaks. This magnetic lighting is the ideal temporary fix.

7. An emergency in the dark: always provide a torch
Besides a fire extinguisher, a torch is essential in your cab. It’s vital for any dark situation. A flat tire can happen anytime, making a torch indispensable on the road. Perfect also for repairs in low light. We offer a wide range of torches—from small to large, battery-operated, or rechargeable. Explore our torches here. Familiar with the inspection LED light or the rechargeable LED work light? They're ideal for repairs in the dark.
