GRAMMER tractor seats – 3 tips for staying comfortable in the field
Do you spend a lot of time every day working on a tractor, forklift, crane, digger, or another vehicle? Did you know that long days behind the wheel can cause neck, back, and shoulder discomfort? These physical issues reduce alertness and job satisfaction. GRAMMER is renowned for its seats, which offer great comfort to drivers of various vehicles. The following three GRAMMER tips will help reduce the risk of pain and injury and ensure you're comfortable in the field.
Tip 1: Maintain a proper posture and adjust the tractor seat
- The position of your knees
Adjust the seat height so you can easily operate the steering wheel and pedals. Do this by placing your knees at an angle of 110 to 120 degrees. - Sit properly on the seat
Make sure there's room for about three fingers between the back of your knees and the seat edge. This tilts your body slightly backward, preventing back and neck issues. - Backrest in the correct position
Adjust the backrest so you're leaning back slightly in a relaxed position. Your hips should be at an angle of 110 to 115 degrees, allowing free movement. - Support the natural curve of the spine
It's crucial to support the natural shape of your spine. Do this by adjusting the seat height and lumbar support. Find a comfortable position with good lumbar support.

Spread your knees as wide as possible and then close them again, keeping your feet in place. Repeat eight times.
